New month. Goals not quite met? Shake it off and keep going. Goals accomplished? Huzzah! Let’s have a lookiloo at what’s happened and what’s yet to be done, shall we?

To You, As it May Concern:
We’re wrapping up Act Two of the Bootcamp and nearing the curtain call for Camp NaNo.
While I did not leap tall buildings in a single or even a dozen bounds, there was progress to be made and made it I did.
Or ‘You Know You’re a Writer When…’
Greetings and salutations, fellow scribes of the world!
A lil’ taste of what my pal Google has contributed to my edification:
– square foot gardening (more on this later)
– fairies and their weaknesses
– DNA collection at Death Scenes
– Human diseases and conditions
– Arthurian legends
– Shakespeare’s true identity
– Leonardo da Vinci’s drug use
Seems harmless enough, no?

I don’t know this George, or what he has to do with anything I’ve done lately, but I’m calling it a win.

So, I built a bed yesterday.

Oh, the unpacking. That, too.
How in the frakkenshnoiders did I ever accumulate so much stuff? I may have mentioned The Sisterhood calling me out as an ’emotional hoarder’ and I can’t say I disagree with her. But as a Disney character declared–and many people have sung since–I really needed to let it go!
The purge, though slower than watching a pot boil, has proven successful. I think I shall continue in this forward momentum.
