This weekend of writerly goodness couldn’t have come at a better time. Things are about to get super hectic in my non-writing life, so this three day kick in the writing pants was just what the doctor ordered.

Hump Day, the Third

ROW80Logocopy

So, the year began on a hump day. Has it been three already?

Gah!

Tooooo fast.

However, I must be having fun if time insists on flying.

WRITING:

The coursework rolls on, as does that new story idea that I’m NOT SUPPOSED TO BE WORKING ON, but for which I’m continuously generating new ideas.

WHAT YOU KNOW: 5 WIP OBSERVATIONS

WRITING

When I was still in the single digits, I wrote with pencil and paper. I soon graduated to pen and notebook. When technology afforded me other means, I began clicking away on keys. Words appeared, amber text on a black screen, then as computer systems evolved, white text on blue. WRITING:

It’s hard to believe that we’re already in the second half of November, let alone nearing the end of the year.

Week Three of NaNoWriMo & SavvyAuthorsEntangled Smackdown, here we come.

By yesterday’s count and indicator on my handy-dandy NaNoWriMo widget, I’m at 77% of the 50K word count goal. I plan on writing at least another 20K after that so I think I’m at a good pace with the story. Aside from the previous murder victims, no new bodies have turned up but there’s still time. 🙂
