WRITING:

On the hump of Week Three for NaNoWriMo & SavvyAuthors: Entangled Smackdown.

I’m just a kiss, fight, and/or kill away from 50K words, as of last night’s count. Hard to say with my tricky characters. They do love a plot twist.

I’m itching to edit certain scenes, but have forced myself to take copious notes and just keep writing forward. This is a challenge unto itself, but I’m getting through it.

READING:

So far, this week, any reading unrelated to my own has been author website-related as I try and spruce up my own site. There’s a mixed bag of opinions on the use of WordPress, but I’m sticking with them for now. Of course, I read some articles on the CONs of using WordPress after I registered my domain with them. We’ll see how it goes.

NETWORKING:

I dot commed myself a few days ago and as of tonight, you can also find me on LinkedIn. Due diligence for the ole author platform. I have yet to fully utilize all social media outlets so feel free to weigh in on those you might find more helpful than others.

LEARNING:

Unfortunately, my writing workshop was canceled due to the instructor dealing with personal issues. My thoughts are with her and her family and I’m sure we’re all looking forward to learning with her some time in the future.

For now, I have plenty of learning material to go through: my downloaded classes, webinars, and digital issues from Writer’s Digest to name SEVERAL few. 🙂
