For those more well-versed in skincare, the skin around the eyes is more delicate than the rest of the face. As such, we need to look for products to safely and appropriately use on the lids and surrounding eye areas.
We primed our face before we applied our foundation, so we must also prime our lids. Some people use concealers and even foundation when they’re in a rush, but I’ve found that there is more creasing of the product on the lids because the products are too thick and the ingredients are too heavy for the eyelid’s thin skin.
I’ve only been using two eyeshadow primers (also called eyeshadow bases) so I decided to combine the post with some eyeshadow palettes I’ve been using lately.
The following makeup are among the many tried and tested products that worked for me. Within each category I’ll list them with the product I liked the most (or at least do, at the moment). Something to keep in mind is that skin texture changes throughout the year so it is important to adjust skincare and makeup application accordingly.
